Lismore Heritage Centre

Opened in 1992, Lismore Heritage Centre is located in the old Courthouse Building in the heart of Lismore town, at the foot of the Knockmealdown mountains. The Centre offers a variety of experiences, including guided tours of the town, the Robert Boyle Escape Room, and a virtual reality tour of Lismore Castle.

The Centre also serves as a venue for community events and festivals, providing a hub for local activities such as Irish dancing, STEM camps, and yoga. A key feature is the educational focus on Robert Boyle, the father of modern chemistry, with interactive science workshops for schools and the general public
