The Suir Blueway Tipperary features a 21km walking and cycling trail to Clonmel and 53km of paddling trails to Ardfinnan along the River Suir, providing opportunities for kayaking, canoeing, hiking, and cycling. It connects several historic towns and offers scenic views, historical sites, and local hospitality (Tipperary Tourism)  (Munster Vales).

The ultimate family escape, offering stunning countryside and rich history, the Suir Blueway Tipperary is a unique walk along a country towpath which was the main commercial route for goods and people until the coming of the railway.

The paddling route covers Cahir, Ardfinnan, Newcastle, Clonmel, and Carrick-on-Suir. Bikes can be hired at Treacy’s Bike Hire.
