We’re calling out for your stories, your memories, your photographs, your voice!

The Carrick-on-Suir Heritage Centre will be transformed over the next year in a major cultural and community initiative for our town.  And now we want YOU to be part of it. 

We’re inviting everyone, young and old, past and present, to share your stories, memories, and photographs of Carrick-on-Suir life. These personal contributions will help shape a public oral archive going forward.

Share tales from the basket weaving sheds, the old tannery, the river trades, life on the lanes and streets, and sporting glory days from GAA to rowing. We are looking for family photos, black-and-white memories, and stories passed down through generations, memories of working, playing, loving, and living in Carrick-on-Suir.

Submit your stories and photos below before Friday 15th August in time for the Heritage Week Festival on Saturday 16th August.  Just fill in your details and choose your photos to upload. If you’d rather share them in person, just bring them along on the Saturday.
