Ormond Castle Market Launch Draws Over 1,100 Visitors
Carrick-on-Suir’s new Ormond Castle Market made an impressive debut, welcoming over 1,100 visitors throughout the day. The event brought together a dynamic mix of local food producers, craft makers, designers, and artists, all set against the historic backdrop of Ormond Castle and its surrounding grounds.

Spread across the Castle Marquee, Exhibition Room, entrance area, and outdoor spaces, the range of vendors showcased everything from delicious street food and artisan coffee to vinyl records, sustainable fashion, handmade crafts, and local art.
The feedback from traders and attendees has been overwhelmingly positive, as we look forward to the next Markets on Saturday 16th August Und Saturday 27th September.
