Carrick Davins GAA Club

Founded in 1922, Carrick Davins GAA Club has a storied history in both football and hurling. The club was originally inclined towards football, borrowing jerseys from neighbouring teams until adopting their distinctive red colours in the 1930s.

The club honours Maurice Davin, a native of Carrick-on-Suir and a founder of the GAA, with many players historically representing Tipperary in both football and hurling. Carrick Davins has seen periods of great success, notably in the 1960s, winning several South Senior Titles and the County Senior Title in 1966. The club also prides itself on its strong juvenile programme, fostering young talent through their Little Rebels Academy.
